Matt会跳一种舞（事实上，那也是他会的唯一一种），他每到一个地方就让他的朋友拍一段他跳舞的视频，而后放在网上。人们开始传他的视频，知道人越来越多。2006年，Matt用六个月时间跑遍了7大洲的39个国家，此后，Matt已经相当著名了。2007年，他开始在网上教别人跳这种古怪的舞姿——说来也怪，每个人都觉得那舞姿看着就很开心。Matt收到的email如像犹如中国南方的梅雨一样，绵绵不绝。2008年，Matt已经是个彻头彻尾的大明星了——早已不再“山寨”。

Matt Harding is a 32-year-old videogame designer who quit his job in 2003 to travel around Asia. Along the way, he recorded and posted a short video of himself doing an elbow-intensive jig in Hanoi. That clip got passed from one person to the next and eventually got the attention of Stride Gum, which decided to sponsor two more of his trips. In his latest video, Harding visits 42 countries over 14 months and invites the locals to join in the fun. That includes everyone from some Huli Wigmen in Papua New Guinea to a group of school kids in the Solomon Islands. Matt的录像被time.com评为年度“10大病毒式传播录像”之首。前两天我在香港的时候，看到Visa的30秒广告是Matt在跳舞，当时还不知道这小伙究竟是谁，于是还在慨叹：“看看人家拍广告的，这创意！”

Matt上中学的时候成绩太差，后来也没考上大学。但这并不妨碍他成为一个快乐的人。唉，有些人的快乐基因好像天生就比其他的人多一些吧？尽管我一直认为“快乐是一种本领”——即，可以习得的。
